Iran’s Jafari seizes gold in FIS Grasski World Cup

Morteza Jafari from Iran claimed a gold medal in the FIS Grasski World Cup giant slalom on Friday.

Jafari made history by winning the first ever gold for the nation.
He finished in the first place with a time of 51:09 seconds, followed by Italian Edoardo Frau with 51:78 and Austria's Michael Stocker with 51:98.

Jafari had already won a silver medal in Super G even on Thursday.

The 2015 FIS Grasski World Cup got underway in Dizin, Iran with the participation of 20 skiers.
